Wesam Haddad is an educator, conceptualizer, creative director, art director, graphic designer, and social-conscious designer.
Haddad is currently an Assistant Professor of Graphic & Digital Media Design at Middlesex Community College (MCC), Massachusetts, and the Creative Director and Founder of Poster Stellars: The Intercontinental Poster Competition (USA).

Haddad holds an M.F.A. in Communications Design from Pratt Institute, New York, and a B.F.A. in Design and Applied Arts, with a major in Graphic Design, from Yarmouk University, Jordan.
With more than 25 years of experience in the advertising and design industry, Haddad has worked with internationally recognized agencies, including Saatchi & Saatchi, Team Y&R, Publicis Graphics, and M&C Saatchi.
Moreover, Haddad is a social poster designer and internationally recognized curator, juror, lecturer, speaker, award-winning designer, and exhibitor. His work has received more than 100 international awards across the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Ecuador, Mexico, Egypt, and Jordan.
Haddad has been invited to serve as a juror, speaker, lecturer, and critic at numerous universities, institutions, and international design organizations, including the Reece Museum at East Tennessee State University, Temple University, San José State University, Pratt Institute, Kean University–Jersey City, Pradita University in Indonesia, Asia Creative Design Award–China, International Design Center Nagoya (IdcN)–Japan, A’ Design Award–Italy, Graphis–New York, the 18th BICM (Décima Octava Bienal Internacional del Cartel en México), the 2024 Taiwan International Student Design Competition, and the 6th Emirates International Poster Festival (EIPF) 2024.
His work has been awarded, exhibited, published, and featured in numerous renowned archives, newspapers, design annuals, magazines, exhibitions, competitions, and books. Selected recognitions and appearances include the Library of Congress, Cannes Lions, ArtPrize, Graphis, A’ Design Award, the Milton Glaser Design Study Center and Archives, and Marquis Who’s Who 2023. His work has also been included in The Design of Dissent, Extended Edition: Greed, Nationalism, Alternative Facts, and the Resistance, authored by Milton Glaser, Mirko Ilic, Tony Kushner, and Steven Heller.
Haddad’s work is guided by a profound design philosophy: “Simplicity is the highest level of complexity; complexity is the highest level of simplicity.” His universal visual language, particularly his work addressing environmental and social issues, seeks to transcend cultural and ethical boundaries and create an enduring visual voice that resonates with people around the world.
